Why Did I Start a Blog?

For some reason, when I tell people that I’m “going camping,” it surprises people.  Maybe I don’t “look” like a “camper” or come across as an outdoorsy kind of person?  I don’t know.

But it’s something that my family and I have spent the past two summers doing and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

When I first started camping, I wished there was a place where I could find information on the kind of campsites and camping “gear” that was interesting to me.  And now that I have started camping, people ask me a lot of questions about what we do, where we go and what I purchase.  So I figured I would start to blog about it not only to have our memories and post for our families and friends but to also provide that info that I wish I had when I got started.

I’m excited to get the blog up and running and post about things that we’ve done already.

I’m even more excited for the new adventures ahead.  Our first trip will be in a little over a month!

It was 77 degrees today where we live (very unusual for Northeast coast in February!) and it gave me the itch to get our travel trailer up and running!
